Reward Coupons

                            

At the end of each month, students turn in their behavior log in hopes of getting one or two of these reward coupons.  The more 1's, 2,'s, and 3's earned in a month, the more reward coupons!  So not only is it important to stay clipped up, it also important to fill out the behavior log each day.  There will be a couple days per month in which students can redeem their fun reward.  Just be sure to not lose the coupons, or the special reward will be lost too.  Keep up the awesome work!

Observation Table

Each week, there is something new and exciting at the observation table!  During reader's workshop, a small group of students can work together to learn all about the new object.  Any questions or wonders they have, get posted to our "We Wonder" board.  Throughout the week, students can use books or online resources to get some of the wonders answered.  We have become experts at scanning QR codes to quickly get to: Wonderopolis, Kid Rex, and Google!  Any new information we learn gets posted to our "We Learned" board.  Be sure to ask your child about the weekly object we are researching!

Walk to School Day!

What a great morning for Walk to School Day! All of McDole took part in the fun event this morning and didn't come inside until saying the pledge together!  What a great way to start our day!

Career Days

Last Thursday and Friday, we were lucky enough to have five parents come in and teach us about their careers!  They taught us about their responsibilities and showed us some awesome tools.  We learned how the different jobs work in the community as well.  It was a great way to wrap up our career unit in social studies.  Thank you parents for taking time to come and share with us!
